iv been offered 2 silver sharks. i currantly have a 11" oscar and 2 tinfoils about 6" will they get on ? the silver sharks are about 5"
i have a aqua one windsor 88 tank

What's the scientific name? I know two fish that go by silver shark- Balantiocheilos melanopterus and Hexanematichthys seemanni.

can you post a picture please.
i have two hammer head shark (pangasius) and they grow
big together with my oscars. they are now 19 inches long
i have to separate them due to huge size.

I think he meant Balantiocheilos melanopterus

well it was either take them or they would have been killed so iv got them(long story)
they've settled in well but oscar is not best pleased and is sulking
so in total i have oscar obout 11 inches, 2 tin foil barbs about 6 inches,2 silver sharks 1 about 8 inch 1 about 6 inch and 1 plec about 5 inch

if it is Balantiocheilos melanopterus i personally would fear keeping oscars with this... you never know... if yours is staying peaceful then good for you.. great adoption
