ive seen this reasonabley sized tin foil barb at the aquarium and i was wondering if they are any good with my two oscars?

I think so. I have 3 big tinfoils in with my 6 oscars for over 2 years and they do nothing to each other

Keep in mind the prefer to be in schools and attain lengths of over 12 inches.

I wouldn't bother with tin foils, they will eat you out of house and home. I had two a few years ago, I gave them to a friend of mine and then she got rid of them because of their voracious appetite

and they are expensive and like the others said they grow big

i had 2 tin foil barbs with 2 oscars for about 7 years. it went quite well. but keep in mind that they are very stressful so if you want a "peaceful" tank, do not buy tin foil barbs.

Im sure they'll get one fine together but its like the guys said, they love to be in groups and grow very large, and as OFL said they'll eat like nothing else!

but if you've got the room and spare cash i dont see why not!!

i don't think they eat more than a oscar. in sweden they are very cheap.

iv got 2 tin foils in my oscar no problems .greedy fish

i dont see why not either.......if you have the room!!!!!!! but after keeping cichlids they are a bit like robots ...with no personality and blank expressions on their faces and in their eyes
