Fairly sure thats not a BN.. looks more like a Leopard, Sailfin or some variant of a common plec. Could turn out to be a monster!

It looks like it might in fact still be a bristlenose.. From the forum I just read females get little to no bristles and at this size it's very common to remain with none. Very curious to see the outcome. It's crazy how fish change while growing. My Africans used to breed like crazy and the fry never looked the same as adults. I had one come out 100% blue beautiful yet grew up yellow with blue stripes.. Pops was a bumble bee
