I,ve been looking for JDs and GTs grown-ups,NONE TO BE FOUND!
I called dozens of shops.
But..Can buy some Vieja Synspilus, couple, male or female.
Think one wouldt be best, can these do with my Oscar?

have no experience mixing vieja with oscars but vieja
looks very delicious for oscar, unless it is big enough
not to fit your o's mouth.

I went to the store anyway, man, this was cool!
Very clean Tanks and loads of special comm fish.
Saw the viejas from 2-4" and thought they meant those,when i called them.
No, said the owner we have to go downstairs!
Thats where the bigger fish were!
There he had a huge tank with all fullgrown Viejas, a huge couple-17",
and a lot of nice size males and females,10/12"!

I fell in love with a female, 9,5", just like my Oscar.
The vieja is used to very boisterous fish and is not a bit impressed by my Oscar.
Oscar is checking the tank out together with the vieja!
I'll keep close watch but for now they're having fun!

I have heard that Veja's are very aggressive. the people @ cichlidforum.com can tell you for sure but i haven't heard of many people mixing a veja with oscars. not sure though i would research it well before making an addition.

hey Noddy, that a beautiful fish and won't look
yummy anymore for the oscar. now, you have to watch for
it because that vieja will dominate the oscar in a few weeks
from now. it is more aggressive than oscar.

I'll keep close watch, but for now things are cool.
The Vieja may be boss in a while, as long as theres no real damage!
Or else i'll resolve to the Time-Out-Bag method!
That took care of aggressive fish before...LOL!

ha ha ah.... i agree... but i am careful in recommending it.
i don't want things to happen the other way around... time
out bag should be implemented with care to avoid casualty.
