To have any sort of tank mate with one oscar? Something I can keep forever? I do plan to upgrade to a 75 but might not happen till December or Jan.
So what you do you think and suggest?
75 gallon goldfish, 55 gallon one oscar,
30 Gallon planted 1 angefish and company, 20 gallon planted 1 angelfish and company,
10 gallon divided w/3 bettas tank, One 2 1/2 gallon planted betta tank.

I don't think any fish will live for ever

If you are upgrading in a few months, then I would strongly suggest that you wait until then before getting any more fish.

But wont that be a problem since the oscar well be big enough to eat most fish in the pet shops by then?
What I mean by forever is the life of the fish not till it gets to big for my tank.

That's why we don't recommend putting small fish in with Oscars.

You will have to find fish that have already done some growing.

No such thing around here. No one carries big fish except for some medium goldfish.
I can't afford to have a large fish shipped and pay for the fish so kind of have to get something now if I am going too.

That's unfortunate if your fish store only stock small fish. why not have a word with them and tell them what you want, their suppliers may be able to provide you with some slightly larger fish.

If you do introduce small fish in with a large Oscars, the chances are they won't last very long.
