I have never kept green terrors before so I can't really give you advice based on experience. However, they weren't named terrors for nothing. Whereas I don't think they're quite as bad as their counterpart, the red, they probably could be quite nasty. 75 gallons is not very big, if you've got two semi-aggressive fish in quite a small environment, it could be problematic. You will be better off going for a nonaggressive fish like three or four silver dollars for instant. I absolutely love my silver dollars, I would always have them. Blue Acara are also pretty cool. It's difficult to decide on what tank mates because 75 gallons is big enough for one Oscars, and just a few small tank mates so you have got to be carefully you don't go too mad because you will just end up with water quality problems
I may not always be right, but I am always the boss

i would say definitely angelfish, they grow quite big and a very non aggressive fish, will not bother ur O and ur O wont bother him (angelfish have very hard armour)

i have had one with my O's who are over 10 inches now for over a year
other pets are my colt (Freddo Frog), my staffy (Tank) and my boxer x,(Steph)

like ofl said a 75 is only really big enough for an oscar. but if you do have your heart set on a tankmate you will have to find something that doesnt get to big and will be able to co-habitate with a full grown oscar.

gt grow to big and in a confined space like a 75 there will probably territory issues and water quality to contend with.

the only thing that come to mind to fit the criteria is a female jack dempsey. they only grow to about 8 inches or so and are more than adequate to compete for food with an oscar.

just my 2 cents
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

I aggree with the boss, some silver dollars would do fine.
They're no threat to eachother.
mine hang round together most of the time.

thanks for the suggestions...i googled the blue acara looks really nice, but the silver dollars school so they are really cool as well. im gonna have to go to some LFS and see what the deal is, the last thing i want is any type of problems in my tank whether its with water parameters or with aggression.

another option is to have a few angel fish with the o.
an angel fish is slow growing fish and thrive with same
water parameters with oscar. i love floating angel fish
and they do not need too much foods and less bioloads.

i dont even feed my angel, it feeds off the particles the O's spit out.

Have you considered discus? I had only seen pics till last week and I fell instantly in love with them. The colors are very bright and they're peaceful. My next project is gonna be a big tank with as many as I can cram in there

The blue electric dempsy might be a good choice for a tank mate. I was reading that they do nopt get as bid as a jack dempsy and they are not nearly as aggressive so the oscar might find him an easy tank mate because the oscar would still be the boss... They say they get to be around 6-7 inches in length... Thats just my opinion
