i had a few oscars a while ago, they had a few peoblems and so i gave them away. im cycling my tank for a month because i am going overseas. when i get back i am going to get an albino oscar and i want to know what type of fish i can put in with it and how many other fish i can safly put in my 65 gallon tank?.

65 gal tank is good for 1 full grown oscar and few angel fish
or silver dollar disc.

i would also say that a clown loach is quite good. i have one in with my oscars and while they are awake he is asleep and vise veser, they dont tend to get in each others way.

in a 65 you should only consider one mid sized tankmate to go with your oscar. something in the 6 inch range like a female jack dempsey or an acara of some sort.

thanks for the idea. a few angel fish/silver dollar as in like 3 or 4?. and does it matter how many male and female or do they have to be all one sex.?
