hey guys picked up a Rafael Catfish to clean up my 55 from my Oscars anyone have experience with one or just some facts about them?

good choice, i have heard they are good oscar tank-mates although i have never kept one myself. they seem to like caves and aren't extrememly active should stay under 6''.

I have a 1 yr. old Oscar in a 45 gal. tank along with a 13 yr. old Raphael catfish. The catfish and the Oscar seem to coexist just fine; I have places for both of them to hide. The only thing that has happened is some scratches appeared on my Oscar because of the catfish being nocturnal might have spooked the sleeping/resting Oscar and he scraped against some of the lava rocks that I have in my tank. Other than that they seem to be good tankmates.

cool ya the only reason i dont like him is i have sand on the bottom and a always makes big piles of sand i the corners haha but i dont mind
