How big is your knife fish? Some of these get absolutely huge. Also, clown Loach like to be in groups, they're not the sort of fish that like being on their own. Just some friendly advice, not having a go at you:)

I'm guessing it's either a black ghost knife or a clown knife. Black ghosts only get up to about 10 inches or so, while clown knives get aroun 36 inches. Clown knives also like a steady supply of live food, mine only eats live stuff(guppies, goldfish etc.)

Clown Loaches also like to live in groups of 5 or more, and can get up to 12 inches or more, however they are slow growers and this will take A LONG time.

I'd love to see pictures of all these fish.

The knife fish is about 9 inches now..Must admit i`ve been thinking about getting another clown loach but was worried about over crowding,,the tank measures 4ft x 2ft x 2 1/2ft.would it be ok to add another clown loach ?

GREAT SITE by the way:)

To keep a group of CL's you'll need a 125 gallon tank I've heard...

To post images, sign up for an account on photobucket.com or another image hosting program and copy the IMG code to the site- it would look something like this:

yeah to house those fishes you've mentioned you've got to house them in a larger tank, or you'll end up doing water changes eating up your time.
