My mom gave me a 150 gallon aquarium.. I'm going to move my oscars and pleco into it when it's all set up.

What else and how many of each can i put in there with them?

Is this 150 US gallons? You say Oscars, I assume that is two? And what sort of pleco have you got? If you are keeping one of the Pleco is that you extremely large, in excess of 12 inches quite easily then I wouldn't put any more fish in your tank as these type of fish creates an incredible amounts of waste.

What kind of filtration are you using? This will also determine if you are able to keep your water quality under control if you do you max out on your fish. A community tank is one thing, keeping large fish like Oscars is another ballgame altogether. If you are going to keep lots of large fish, you don't only need to take into account tank size, but also the filtration, you will need to to keep up with the amount of waste lots of large fish produce.

Assuming that you've got extremely good filtration and you didn't have the plec then you could go for some silver dollars, maybe a Severum, some Earth Eaters, Blue Acara, maybe a Leporinus. By the way, these are just a few suggestions, I'm not saying that you can put all of these in the two Oscars, these are just a few examples of what goes well with Oscars if they are big enough. I'm sure someone else will give you some advice as well

Yes, U.S. gallons, I have 2 oscars, just a common pleco? i'm guessing. my aunt got it at walmart.

I haven't had the chance to figure out filter, etc.. my mom just gave it to me last night.

Oh no, i don't want to max it out, i was wanting to put 1 maybe 2 jack dempseys in..

Let us know what filter you've got. It's good that you only want the couple of mates, that will make life a lot easier for you, but you're still going to need plenty of filtration with two Oscars. Up until recently I had a couple of Oscars and the 125 gallon tank which is never the same as yours, I had two Eheim 2028 cast of filters running and they did an excellent job, lots of filtration is an absolute must.

Clown loaches are my second favourite fish, how about putting 3 or 4 in.

For oscars you need filtration rated for a tank twice as big as you have. In other words your total filtration should be rated for 300g. Most filters say how big a tank they are rated for. If your filter isnt big enough then just add another so that the total is 300g. It doesnt matter if you go over 300
