I have a 9" pacu and he is starting to show alot of aggression towards my 10" lutino. Now i know i will be moving the pacu to a bigger tank soon, but this fish should be relativly docile with other fish. Am i wrong or should i be moving the pacu now.

If there's major damage on your O, I wouldnt hesitate to move the Pacu!
I heard feeding the Pacu live and meaty foods may increase aggression, that why a fruity-veggie diet is advisable.
How big is your tank?

We got one guy here in Holland that has 6 Pacus around 2 Feet, and he is wanting to give them away to anyone who can house them.
But he just can't find anyone...

The tank is 180us gal i vary the diet from bloodworms to pea's, carrots and other veggies. He has never had live food nor has he tryed for any other fish. There is no damage to the oscar and they are calm right now, i will keep a close eye on them. ................................................................................. .

ouch... that is a red belly pacu, almost similar to piranha....
it is the aggressive type pacu and could ripped the skin of
any tankmate and then nipped slowly until bone out......
put a lot of cucumber to give him something to chew....
otherwise, your beautiful lutino is no match with it.

Alright thanks for the info i'll try cucumber. He likes carrots so he may love cucumbers. He has not caused damage to any of the fish in the tank infact i think the Jack has harmed the pacu worse than anything, The pacu is fast but when he is eating the Jack really lays into him, only fish the Jack goes after. I should be able to get a bigger tank for him soon so i can defuse the problem before it gets bad.

my buddy james has two rbp's, and they look just ilke yours, they are about a foot long

his pacu love to eat nuts. walnut in the shell. its a trip. they suck the whol thing in mouth, then spit it out half way, and crush the shell, and spit it all out and pick out the meat. they go crazy for them. and crickets. they love crickets too. and feeder goldfish. and anything else they can get in their mouth. the pleco starves half the time bc they love the algea chips too.

I have a hard time feeding him with the two oscars cause they nail anything that hits the water! Watermelon is one thing the oscars won't eat, they looked at me like i was an idiot! I will give him some nuts and see what happens I don't think my chair is tall enuff for that though....
