i have two oscars and they kill everything i put in the tank. i've tried pleco but my albino just doesn't like the company i guess. so i've opted for a snail about 2 1/2" in diameter. see hers the deal im trying to breed and my algae problem is out of control i have to scrub the tank at least once a week. any response is appreciated. oh yeah the albino has already demolished 2 smaller mystery snail didnt eat em just chewed em up and spit em out??????

When you O's grow large enough they will probably eat the snail. Some algae can be beneficial to the tank enviorment but it depends on what kind it is. Plecos are not always the answer to algae although many pleco species love algae and eat it readily. Plecos need places to hide if they are in with O's but remember they are poop machines and will add to the biological load on the tank.

I have a snow king pleco in with my O and I never see any algae.

I certainly don't claim to be an expert on snails, don't like them personally, ever since I had an infestation of Malaysian trumpet snails. Oscars will eat snails, however if you want to get a snail that they probably can't eat, go for a very large apple snail.
