i,m am considering a crustacion. is there any threat to my oscars (2 in.)and if this is possible what options do i have? can you dirrect me to a good sight to examine my options?

If I was you, I would rule out crabs totally. I will give you a scenario, sleeping fish, crabs crawling around looking for something to eat. A few injuries could occur. You have got to remember that lot of freshwater crabs can get quite big

I had a bucket full of prawns a couple of weeks ago that I caught in the sea. Anyway, there were a couple of crabs that got caught as well. I accidentally put one of the small crabs in and the Oscar scoffed it straight away so that something else you would have to think about very carefully. I also heard that Oscars are partial to small lobster. You've got to remember that Oscars will attempt to eat just about anything, even if they have no chance of actually swallowing it. unfortunately, when this happens they normally kill it whilst attempting to eat it.
