i have a 2 inch tiger oscar. got him about a month ago or less. when i first got him he got some type of parasite and i had to treat him with some medacine. happy to say that he is doing fine except for what i think is some type of vision problem because he cant seem to find the food we give him very well. but he is doing fine because he is in a tank by himself. today i bought another oscar that is just a little bit smaller than the other. my question is, will the one that i believe cant see very well get beat up or not be able to get his share of food because of his vision problem (in my opinion)? would my blood parrot that about the same size as the oscars get tag teamed on? i actually have lots of other question but this is the one thats been on my mind for a while now. thank you for any and all help!

pristine water is the first defense of fish/es against any illnesses.
keep it in tip top condition, and there no need for medication. impaired
vision can recover in no time. juvenile usually do not make bullying yet.
lets just hope the older one will recover soon.

btw, welcome aboard to happy fish keeping

You will never really know until you try. usually the fish that is in the tank will be happier and more at home so when you add a new fish the fish that feels safe is more aggressive. a move about of rocks and plants can help confuse things a little. give them ago and watch over them to see how things go. You will get some fighting and this is accepted as long as one of the fish isn't getting serious damage. expect some spilt fins and a bit of biting over a few days. small baby fish are easier to deal with so you may be ok

my two O's are doing wonderfully together! Last night I was watching them and it looked like they were 69ing lol I told my girlfriend to check it out and she said what are they doing? aren't they both boys? had to tell her that we aren't sure of the sex until later on down the road, but they are best of friends! Always at eachothers side. I am sure glad I got them both, actually all of them, they have been nothing but a welcome addition to the family.
