I had a quick question and it may be a really dumb one. I want to get some apple snails,(I think those are the ones that get pretty big),Can their eggs get into my HOB filters and cause any sort of problems? Has anyone heard of this?

I shouldn't think you will have any problems, don't apple snails stick their eggs to the side of the glass?when I had an infestation of Malaysian trumpet snails, I used to find hundreds of them in my canister filters, never caused much of the problem

I agree with OFL, snails are unlikely to cause your filters a problem
