well... i just put my 4" albino oscar and 5 silver dollars in my 55 with my big girl. ive been growing them out in anothe aquarium tryin to get them past that edible size... short video of their introductions... and so far... none of them have been eaten yet. lets just hope it stays that way.




edit: i KNOW this is overstocked so dont give me shit about it, im moving them to a 8 footer just as soon as i can find the help to move the tank.

12 inches exactly was the last measurement i got when i had it out of the tank when i moved a month or two ago.

she was in there by her self

well i had two... rehomed one like a year ago, i had a foot long pleco that was more trouble than it was worth, so it had to go. shes been in there with a black convict and a lace synodontis for a while now. i really didnt even want to put these other fish in the tank but i really didnt have a choice, the dollars and baby o were in a 10g grow out tank and it was just getting really too crowded for them so i let them grow a few inches and added the in today. i would have preferred to wait till the 8 footer was moved inside and setup but that isnt an option at this time. hopefully in the next week or so ill have it up and moved so it should be all good. if the girl doesnt eat them in the mean time.

just a couple weeks ago paul i watched the girl grab and eat my very last african electric yellow... i got so pissed i was tryin to get it to spit it out by smackin her with the net lol.. no luck.. almost broke my tank and filration tryin to get the hood off to save it... the attempt was a failure. rest in piece lil african.

lol so far that oscar has killed and eaten every fish ive put in the tank except the pleco and the lil synodontis and 1 black convict...

lets hope these new fishies have enough sense to stay the hell away from it...
