so if you dont no by now ive had problems with my two oscars...ill keep it short they fight like crazy and was about to give up the smaller of the two. well been looking for new fish to replace him maybe somthing more aggresive to keep up with the mean oscar and i did a green terror about 4-5inch. hope its a male... guy at pet shop said it was. so i threw him in the tank and was gunna give the baby oscar away today but good news oscars stick together now and seem scared and currious of new fish which means fighting has stoped which means i just might get to keep both oscar i hope.
i hope im not gunna be over stocked?!!!!!
i have a 125
two oscars
1 pleco
1 green terror (male hopefully)----to keep anger of big oscar in check
.
.
WHAT SHOULD I BE FEEDING IT? WILL IT EAT THE OSCAR PELLOTS?
.

That is a beautiful MALE GT....

He will eat flakes, medium pellets, brine shrimp, meal worms... All kinds of stuff.

You should be ok with that stock, just keep an eye on your water.
It's NOT smart to piss off the girl with the BAN button!

Be advised that green terrors are not called that for nothing, you may find that the GT's will start to bully or even batter your o's

Of course it's not cut in stone, but here's a pretty neat site I used to do some research
on fish compatibility.

well so far so good gt eats now and swims around and is not affraid of the big O and will swim next to it now but will back down if big o attacks. usually little o and gt are buddys together. which is cool becuase little o hasnt been in any serious fights with the other O and is actually looking happy and actually swims around in the tank instead of staying hiddin in one corner beaten up

a female is prefferable when keeping a GT with O's. Green Terrors are mean and will pick on something more than twice it's size. I have a female GT and even though she is alot smaller, she still picks fights with my big red O.

good luck, but i think you might have to rehome either the Os or the GT
Please, for my sake, change your oil!

That is a pretty GT. I have one myself, I know they can be aggressive, mine hasn't shown any yet, but I won't hold my breath. My oscars try to hang out with mine, but the GT wants nothing to do with my oscars and swims to the other side of the tank. Good luck with the GT, I hope everything works out.

GT are bad tankmates for Oscars IMO..I tried a small GT in my 125g with my 8" oscar and that little GT would not leave the Oscar alone, I had to take the GT out...Wouldn't trust one with an oscar

I had one once he took over the whole tank. So keep an eye on him.
They live up to their name sometimes.

well its been awhile with the GT in the tank
i bought it because of aggresion issues with the to O's i have
maybe hopping to have something eles for the big o to bully instead of constantly picking on the smaller O
well so far so good
big oscar still rules and no one touches him not even the GT
for some reason i think i got the 1 out of a hundred O's that give O;s a bad name for being mean if you no what im saying
