How long could 3 dempseys 2 oscars 1 red devil and 1 pleco could last in a 125 gallon? More as a emergency type thing than anything else? O's are 6", RD 6.5", 1 of the JD is 5.5" the pleco in 4", and the other 2 are under 6" also. I do not have these fish in my tank at the moment! Just the O's 1 JD and 1 Pleco.

It's not terrible as long as filtration and aquarium maintenance are optimum.

In the case of an emergency that would be ok, if you got adequate filtration, matching to your bioload.
They keep them in smaller tanks at the LFS, and they survive.
For the aggression part there's no guarantee.
But why, what's the emergency?

sorry i never seem to be able post on the right thing.

i think the problem you are going to run into is the rd kicking the crap out of the rest of the fish.
as for the size of the fish and the size of the tank you should be alright but keep a close eye out for ammmonia spikes.
hopefully they will cohabitate nicely while you have them.
