300 gallon? What are the dimensions?

I have got a 300 gallon and I will give you an idea of what I have got in mine

I have got four Oscars, two of which are going to be re-homed.

I have got 3 Jurupari, 2 Silver dollar, one Leporinus, three Severums, two Blue Acara, and I think that's all

To be quite honest, it might be easier if you give us an idea of what you are looking for, there are hundreds of fish that you could have.

Finally, what kind of filtration have you got?

Hi their I also have a 300 gallon tank. Right now I have 2 large oscars and a pleco, I have 4 more oscars growing in a 125 to put in with them. My plans is to have 6 oscars in my 300 gal. tank. You better have good filters.

I once had an Asian Gar that was fun to watch eat!! An Alligator Gar from Florida isn't bad, but it will get pretty big! Just go online and read all that you can about various fish and then decide. Your local pet store would also be a good place to ask to see about availability.

hi, there.
the fish you choose depend on your own taste.
i can tell you what i'do, though...

it would be 2 oscars, some florida gar, a cuban gar and one big and some smaller plecos.
these are my fish and i'd love to see them and some companions in a 300, but that's still future music.

if there's any possibility I'd keep the other tank running as well.
That'd be perfect as hospital or grow out tank.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

A canister on a 300G????? There isnt a canister available on the market to handle a tank of that size. For that size tank I would strongly suggest a sump. How did you cycle your tank?

IF YOU want exotic fish you could get an arowana, thats pretty much as exotic as it gets and you could keep your O with them.
although i would hate to see fish fight, my oscar would kick your oscars ass!

Actually Fx5 is rated for over 300G I think. Though it wouldn't work as well alone for oscars.

2 FX5's would be rated for 800 gallons. and would be PERFECT for a 300 gallon tank.

i agree with this for canister filters. 2 fx5 would be fine for a 300 gallon tank.
but on a tank that size your best bet would be a sump in the 75-90 gallon range.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!
