MY plan 180 gallon(us) 6ftx2ftx2ft, it will house 1 megaladoras cat, 2 spotted rapheal cats, 2 angelfish, 1 blackghost knife and 1 longfinned oscar. With hides and a fluidized sand bed ffilter and powerheads for increas water movement.

So far I have a 120gallon with two angelfish and two spotted rapheals, and just waiting for cash to finish my plan.

The 120 will just be a grow out tank.

So how it sound?

Yah my lfs is great, the filter from what I've read houses the oxygen eating bacteria at the bottom that turn ammonia into nitrite and nitrite into nitrate, and at the top because there is no more oxygen houses thebacteria that turn nitrate into gaseous nitrogen in effect removing the nitrates completely it just has to be tall enough for this to happen and it has to cycle of course.

Ill aslo have an air pump going.

Nice plan.
One point of attention should be the Megalodoras idea.
take care you don't get an Irwini, for he'll burst out of your tank.
I suppose you want an Uranoscopus, and if you get that, I'll be very, very jealous...
Look at this, it's one of the most impressive armour on a fish I've seen.

And their belly

Did you check availability yet? and if so, what do they cost?
Nice to keep your 120 as well.
Sweet plan, my friend

Yeah I have a large Raphael cat spiky as hell!

With the fluidized bed you will need ALOT of air pumps. One pass through the filter and the water will lose almost all of its oxygen. I would not suggest this filter unless you know exactly what you are doing.
