YO my Opeeps! My two o's are lonely in the 150g! Panchito 8' tiger, moska 6'' tiger. I know for o's im pretty much set, but is there any other fish i could get to make the tank look a little more "communityish" i'll get anything else but a pleco lol. Could you guys give me a list of which ones i can get for my particular set up and how many?

150g 6' long 27'' high 18'' wide. two fx5, 1 large aquaripure nitrate filter. 500w of heating. 77-78F temp. the tank has a cover.

I do my best to keep the water good no3 10.

As for room in the tank, there's plenty! i got no decors! well just a "no fishing" sign" that's on the corner lol, its there cus if it was out on the open it be knocked over! I had plastic plants, but Panchito took care of them, haha. In my ceramics class i'm about to finish the tower of the Americas that im going to put in the tank. Its gona be 26'' tall, its gona look cool! ^_^ all of the glazing and coloring is food safe, as well as the clay. When i put it in the tank i'll post a pic ^_^ ones i get the tower in then i'll think of putting more decor.

Thanks!

the tower of the Americas is downtown where i live in san antonio texas.

I have a Severum, and it is a lovely, nice, peaceful fish. I haven't heard anything negative about the Severum as a tankmate for Oscars. They are pretty popular and readily available. they also come from the same regions as the O's - so they have the same water parameter requirements as the Oscars.

Jack Dempseys can make good tank mates. you could also look at the silver Dollars, Pictus cats are also GREAT.

2 or 3 with your filters yes... but i would go with all one sex... preferably females.

I wouldn't add a pair due to aggression issues.

I have to second the Pictus Catfish...they are very "busy" little cats and are quite entertaining to watch as they never stop!
-Come to the darkside...we have cookies!
-I wake up every morning and I piss excellence!
-I'm sorry...I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am!

I agree - Clown loaches are fantastic - mine do very well with my O's; but note they need to be in groups; they're hard to find big enough (the small ones typically found in fish stores would likely be an expensive meal for your O). you mentioned your 150g did not have any decoration in it (which is fine for some fish) but CL require hiding places.... just be sure if you decide on CL, you do some research on them.... they have some unique requirements

I have a JD and Green Terror, and a Pleco. I would recommend a pleco, My Greet Terror is also peaceful I have never seen him show agression but hes also the smallest fish in the tank.
2x Red Oscar
1x Jack Dempsey
1x Green Terror
1x Leopard Pleco
