Ah, you mean that big but cute saltwater parrot? Yeah, I've tried it.
And boy it's tasty. Down here in the persian gulf, we got lots of these fish. Want some? **** off (  )

exactly... we have plenty of that in our coral reef area. catch them by
spear, grilled scale on and with buttered lemon on the side...
oh my..i am hungry again
in serious note, there are many members here who had BRP with oscars...
let wait for them to chime in...

i mentioned a couple of weeks ago,
i have 2 Parrots with 2 young O's and 3 chocolate cichlids, all are about the same size, and it is the Parrots and the chocolates that are facing off, and far from being cuties lol it's the Parrots that seem to start it, at the moment it's not a big issue, but pretty sure an upgrade in that tank is going to be sooner rather than later.

yes you can put them with your oscars but be very careful not to get a mating pair. they kill just about everything that goes near the eggs. its not a big fight but just constant biting around the head that does the damage. I would only get one useless you can guarantee its 2 females or 2 males. if you want more than 1 don't mix with other fish. get a community of parrots.

Guyz, I ain't talkin' 'bout the REAL parrot. I'm talking about the hybrid kinda parrot. The Blood Red Parrot Cichlid. I trust you know about it... (don't ya?)

lol i think we all also are talking about the fish parrot,
my 2 are BRP, and as much as we like to experiment, i'm not sure the feathers on a parrot would help the filters much
