at the moment i have three 4 inch oscars a fire mouth two jewel ciclids that keep producing and two serveriums in a 300 litre tank kan i put a jaguar cichlid in with them

300L ?????? you should be saying 300g. your way over stocked and asking for trouble. your world is going to fall apart if you put more fish in that little tank. have you checked you water conditions?

3 oscars will need 150g (675L) alone and you have more fish in there. NO is the answer to your question. you have a problem coming very soon don't make it worst. sorry I am being straight with you.

for a jag alone you will eventually need more than a 300 liter tank. not to mention that a full grown male jag will desomate your stock list when it matures. imho jags are in the top 5 five for aggressive fish and will make short work of an oscar.

for you stock list i agree with the others and believe you need a tank in the 150 + gallon range(thats around the 600 liter mark) and you should also rehome one of your oscars. 3 is a bad number of oscars to have. if 2 pair up the third will be harassed to no end and if you get all males the fights will be ferocious.

this is a troll thread. a pair of mating jewel's would have killed everything in a tank that small. period.
