was courious i like get pleco to go in my tank once i have algae build up for him too feed. I seen HiFin Pleco when i went to pick up a new air pump for my tank and the look so cool and beautiful but at cost of 15 dollars wanna make sure be ok. the pleaco ok size but smaller then my oscar but too big to fit in his mouth. Thanks

Hi Fin are different type of pleco its not a common or bristle nose its diffenet type here pic of one....





i love the look of these one not like most that are black. these come in different colors common plecos are only 4 dolars here just this kind is 15 dollars

He is way cute... But if he will fit in your Oscars mouth then I would grow him in another tank for a while. Otherwise he will be a spendy snack.

the Hi Fin pleco at pet store alot bigger then the oscar mouth lol i just though hi fin look so awesome for a pleco so was thinking of getting one once i have algae in new tank

If hes big enough there no need to wait for algae (since plecs cannot survive on just algae when they get bigger anyways). Just get a veggie clip and put in lettuce, zucchini, cucumber. He might not take to it at first if he doesnt just shove some algae wafers in it. I feed my 15" Pleco and 3" Pleco cucumber. Funny part is they both eat about the same amount.

i have algae waffers from when i had my old tank and pleco he was small but my oscar could not catch my blistle nose pleco lol. Are veg clips sold at pet store for fish tanks? do you have do anything special to the veggies?

I know my LFS in the states carries them. Mine have a plastic clownfish attached to the clip for some reason. I don't do anything to my veggies except get organic. If not I peel the zucchini or cucumber.
