I know this is my third post today but I'm only on the laptop at certain times. I have a 75 g tank with an oscar and Jack. The oscar is 4-5 inches and the Jack 3 inches. Right now they get along very well. I know I had a question about SDs being with my oscar but they told me I would be overstocking so I decided not to get SDs. So for a 75 g tank, what are some fishes I should get? I'm trying to get fishes now so that they could grow up and get along with each other. Note that I'm planning on upgrading to a 100 g or 125 g in a few months maybe during the summer. NO BIGGER as I am too lazy to clean it every week .

If you do plan on upgrading to a bigger tank than I would suggest Tinfoil Barbs. Get two or more though they are too a schooling fish. If you plan on getting them .

I have 2@2" with my baby Lutinos which are 3.5" now. ANd they get along great they tend to just stick to themselves and leave my oscars and Jack dempseys alone. all in a 90 gal.

OK, until you upgrade, add NOTHING else.

You need a bigger tank for the stock you have now, and keep in mind, even when you get a bigger tank, the more fish you have the more maintenance you will have to do. So if Lazy is a problem, the DON"T ADD anything else.

Jessica, did you know that tin foils get in excess of 15 inches? You too need an upgrade!

yes I know I looked them up. I plan on moving them to a different tank. Or getting a bigger one. like 125 or bigger. They were given to me when I rescued my cousins Lutino.

Ok so I should not get any fishes. I'm not that lazy to clean the tank. It's just that I would hate to clean a big ass tank. I wouldn't mind cleaning the tank once a week or every 10 days. So can I at least get another oscar or chiclid? I would hate to have only one oscar and JD for a long time. Also, when I put a new fish in when I get a bigger tank for my oscar and Jack, that the oscar and Jack may bully it or chase it around. I would get a bigger tank than a 125 g but the problem is that they cost a whole shit load. WAY TOO MUCH for what I have.

Then you should keep your current stock, like I said... More fish equals more work.

Upgrade and keep a low bioload... you will find that those 2 fish have more than enough personality!
