55 gal is good for one oscar alone...though 3 SD do not grow much, they will
still add bioloads in your tank. a good filtration and extra works will be needed
i you gonna push through getting 3 SD....

A big faourite that I have read is the 'Clown Loach' there are a few members on the site that have them and I will be getting one myself. They have a dozen or so at my LFS.
They are constantly scouring the bottom of the tank picking all bits up and they are beautiful with their orange and dark colours.

I rememeber reading about them when I was keeping fish a while ago that they grow too 10"-12"s. I also read that they have not been bred in captivity as they do not become fully sexually mature in aquariums, for some reason. Maybe it has changed since then.

I believe a lot of the Clown Loach at the LFS will be shipped in from Asia, however I think it was a German company that has forced Clown Loach into sexual maturity with chemicals. But as far as I know there has only been one case of natural breeding of clown loaches in captivity and the two clown loach involved died (the eggs were found in the female after an autopsy)

I was amazed at their adult size but even more of their possible lifespan of 80 years!!!!
Imagine being in the retirementhome, and still have these fish!
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
