so my last fire eel died before i could even enjoy him...didnt no much about them except they prefer sand can get fungus easy from bumbs here and there...need good water....
so today i went out looking at fire eel saw a bunch that were unhealthy (now that i no what to look for before bying them) white marks on skin looks very skinny ext ext..
so found a nice looking one for about 70 dollars healthy looking asked the guy if he could feed him before i bought him and the eel was eatting looking good so i took him home today

hes about 17inch long......way bigger than my first eel...... already eatting looks happy.....
so the point of this thread is i wanted to no what too look for as far as fungal infections bacteria infections and best way to treat them with the fire EEL...
i no this is an oscar site but i figured if someone new something about eels maybe they could chime in and help just so i can keep this guy happy for the long run
thanks guys
