I have a 95-gallon tank.

So far i have a little baby oscar. 6 tiger barbs and 5 bala (silver) sharks.

I will get a pleco soon also.

I wish to have one more breed in the tank.

The size does not bother me as i will be upgrading tank size once the fish grow up so it can be a fish or (school of fish)of any size as long as they will grow big enough not to get eaten by my oscar.

The reason i ask for non-aggressive tank mates is that my oscar isnt overly aggressive.

He has already been pushed around by his firemouth tank mate who i have recently removed.

Please offer me some advice. I have thought about silver dollars but i am trying to see see what other options i have. I have already ruled out clown loaches (too needy) and tin foil barbs (too expensive in australia)

How about some bottom feeders such as Pictus cats. They work great with Oscars. I have several... And they clean up the messes!

are they very active of a day time??

ive heard alot of catfish like to hide away of a day and only come out after lights off??

you could get and cichlid i have and afercia male with mine did have three but my big oscar ate the others he about 4 in right now and he doesnt do anything to mine and i have a 4 oscar 14in 7in 6in and 5in and 2 catfish 1 upside down catfish 1 cichlid and a 28in alge eater and for the most part everyone get along good. oh and a minno didnt no what kind.

Man, I LOL so hard when i see upside down catfish, LOL

28" wouldt be close to the largest pleco i ever seen.
