so you may or not remeber me getting two large severums from pet store all banged up and had HITH, fin rot, and just basiclly looking really bad.
so i had to save them
heres pictures:



the HITH was the worst with the big severum who is an easy 9inch and super fat
happy to say that he and other severum are basiclly completly healed up
fin rot is also gone and fins are starting to look good
fins are starting to grow back and there actually looking like fish again


looking good i think
only problem is i may have to rehome the smaller severum
both males dont like each other and if one cruzes into the others teritory they fight but nothing serious yet.
heres a couple shots of my fire eel whos probably about 19inchs now and eats more than everyone in the tank....6 huge night crawlers every night.....defently the most spoiled in the tank and most exspensive.








PS:
only thing that i have done to make severums clear of HITH is keep water changes up every week 50%
no medication needed just keep water clean like your post to and bingo was his name-O

Very cool tank. I wish I could get a nice big tank like that, but I fear I would be divorced if I just moved it in without telling my wife, amd if I tell her it will be a big "NO!" How big is that particular tank?

this tank is a 135 gallon sitting at the foot of my bed
soon to turn into at least a 450 gallon in about a year
fire eel needs a bigger home
dont want to give him up so only thing is upgrade
my girl loves fish lucly for me haha
she has her own little 46 bow front with yellows in it.

very cool tank! I really like the sand substrate in your tank. Nice fish combo too. Just when I almost had myself completely talked out of getting the 140 gallon that I have been looking at, you go and post this.

i say go bigger than 140
youll always end up wanting more
then youll always have to be upgrading
upgrading is fun
spending money not so much haha
