Maybe is just an useless message

Last night due to so hot weather here, I couldn´t sleep so I wen´t out to the hammrock and was seeing the sky.

The moon was looking great so I decide take some pics that I would like to share.
Are not professional pics but anyways, here they are

the reason the moon looked so great lastnight is because there was (some kind of) an eclipse

I glad you liked the pics

I use Canon PowerShot SX20 iS at its maximum zoon (20x optical + 40x digital 0 80x) but if I would use a tripod for sure pic should be better

yes, that's what i often advice too.
i shoot all my DVideos on a tripod and quality is deffo better then without one.
Get one, they're not that expensive.
