Well, I have the new fish... Opie... and the new piece of driftwood has finally sunk with the help of some river rocks. Everyone seems to enjoy it... I don't have a pic of the Pleco yet but J. Edgar is chowing down on it!

hi how long did it take your wood to sink, as im still waiting 2 weeks now , mine is stuck to the back glass with suckers, cant believe it wont sink its a big heavy piece grrrrr lol, but i do love your tank its very nice xxxxx

That was a problem for me. Mine has slate attached to the bottom of the wood but that still wasn't enough. I placed river rocks onto the base, covered them with my gravel so you can't see them. It stayed... soaked for 2 weeks prior.

Man it took some looking to find that but we found it finally!

Cebo... funny you should mention my nice healthy fish. 3 days ago I bought Opie at my LFS... the one I have used and trusted since I started fish keeping. Went back today for some blood worms and meal worms... the tank that had Opie is now full of Ick !!!!! :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

I know, I know, Ick happens!! I'm treating my tank just in case... no real signs of it. it is hard to see spots on him because he is white. Just frustrating!

Day 2 of treatment... the fish don't really show any signs other than the new little guy Opie... 3 spots but its still 3 spots and I know he was in an infected tank. I'm sure my babies will be fine.
