Let me start this thread by saying... please don't lecture me on what I am feeding my fish. Second, I apologize for the floating stuff, it is the by-product of the meal worms and my filter cleaned it right out. Third, I apologize for the color of the water. We are currently treating Ick - which you probably read about in my other thread. (Currently hating LFS!!)

So this morning breakfast for my babies was Meal Worms. I have 2 sizes that I feed them - Super and Giant. I was also going to feed the baby (Opie) blood worms. Well, apparently his eyes are HUGE and his stomach is just as huge. I don't think he'll be eating much later today!

First, he stole one of the Giant meal worms from the Jack Dempsey (brave little shit!). Then he spotted this Super one sitting on the driftwood:

For 10 minutes he was hiding behind that driftwood with a mouth full:

Sorry, those are the best pics that I could do with my current water situation. The camera continued to focus of floating stuff!

Opie ate the entire thing - that would be one Giant and one Super meal worm for him for breakfast!!!!

great meal that is.
I spoiled my red that way and he got off the pellets for a year!
Keep mixing the worms with pellets, or feed them every other day.
btw did you try handfeeding your O´s?
Those big worms are excellent training material.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

It's an easy fix... buy a bigger tank! Technically he is a Lutino - Albino's don't have any color. I just recently learned that little tid bit. At least I think that is what it is... now I'm doubting myself!! Either way, he is so freaking cute with his little P on his tail!

LOL... thats funny ! I don't have enough room in my bathroom for a tank. Plenty of room throughout the house but I'm fighting the MTS... I will win!
