Good thing is the oscar just floats around the upper tank at night...he pretty much lets the plec work the night shift in peace.
my oscars are totally cool with my pleco.
They will investigate from real close what the pleco is doing, but they don't dare to tease him.
The Vieja i had was a different story.
She kept bumping into the zuchinni, while the pleco was sucking on that.
It only took the pleco some time to get upset with the Vieja and jabbed at the Vieja and chased it away, even chasing it through the open space of the tank!!!
that's the only occasion i ever saw my pleco swimming and chasing without using the gravel or glass to move over.
like i told you before, the pleco is factually a living tank with hardly any weak spots.
As long as the other fish do not attack it's eyes, he'll be fine.
Nice vids. B.
Good way to start my sunday morning.
Love the way Opie is making his own corner.
My o's never moved gravel and just started doing that very recently...
