Hey guys, was in fish shop this arv to get some food and saw this in the tank:



He's 2 ft 1 inch long, and just to put it in perspective....




thats him in a 9 ft tank by himself and a couple of plecs

each feeding he eats 3 - 4 full sized goldfish at a time

these grow huge in the wild, in australia they are an awesome sport fish

I have seen Rex Hunt catch these up to well over 50lb. Is he still alive?

yer OFL, hes still alive im pretty sure, doesnt have a show anymore tho, there are tonnes of other fishing shows over here tho!!!

one of the shows i like to watch is when the AFC (Aus fishing championships) is on

heres a barra caught a few years ago in one of them, i think it said somewhere he was 110cm



the AFC do all types of fishing, and its always awesome to watch.

Last I heard of Rex he was on some footy radio show on Triple M.

I used to have a couple, great fish but i sold them because they were way to personable would not stop rushing the front of the tank...

were is that lfs located, have you seen sydney aquariums murrycod, barra and saratogas.
