So, Dimples (looks like he has big dimples), Pigpen (looks like he was rolling around in the mud), Finley (girlfriend named him after Sam Axes alias from Burn Notice) and Les Claypool (greatest bass player of all time) have been moved for the last time into their permanent home. Here's a video of my 125 with new stand and lights. Enjoy.

Yea, I think they like having more room. Plus the filtration is roughly 4 and a half times the size of the tank. I'm still debating if I want to move Finley to the 285. I think he's too big and aggressive for the other fish. Bad experience the first time I put him with the other fish. No tellin what I'll wind up doing. Have to wait and see when the tank is actually set up and cycled.

Nice tank buddy

Tank looks good.

One thing i see is that your are using UGF's. I think we have spoke about this. Instead of using air stones, get some power heads to push the water down the uplift tubes- if you dont the gravel will block up with gunk. Also have you got a gravel tidy in there? If you havent then your fish will dig down to the gravel plate which will make the UGF not work

My UGF is strictly for aeration. I have 2 canister and 2 hob filters running on it at the moment. Haven't noticed any digging yet but if/when I do, I will look at options then.

If its for aeration then why not just have the air stones without the UGF. The only way to increase oxygen in a tank is to ripple the surface so its the bubbles hitting the surface (or filter outlet rippling the surface) that increase oxygen in your tank. Your UGF dont help aeration

cool tank!

I understand your concern about adding Finley to this calm setting.
You can only judge for yourself if it's worth the risk of upsetting the rest...
I spend quite some time finding a combo of fish that will look nice, but foremost act friendly.
i had several aggressive fish before, but the chasing down and hurting eachother spoils my fish-watching-fun.
So i'm not adding anymore fish, nor changing the combo, for it's finaly a good one.

Does your pleco have his own cave yet?
Seems like he's looking for one.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
