I have three clown loaches that share the tank with my two Oscars. The one we have appropriately named "FatBoy" loves to sleep inside this ceramic head. Often I will find him taking a snooze.

I was able to capture it on video - hope you enjoy.

Ha Ha Ha, that video is so funny. I liked the way the second one was looking for a way to get in too. CL's have a habit of lying down on their sides and looking dead. You get used to it after a while. Mine hide in the gaps in my rock pile a lot of the time. CL's like to have somewhere to hide
I can't get no sleep

It cracks me up - FatBoy sleeps on his side all the time. I have a bigger cave for him and bogwood, but for some reason he likes the ceramic head.

FYI - the bigger cave I have for the loaches is the XL "cichlid stone" - the other two just love it.

Yeah, right...
After having several stress attacks, to the point of getting the net to scoop the dead fish out , and seeing the fish get "back to life" when you get back to the tank...
Loaches and Botia's are VERY good at playing dead.
I know no one told me about their acting skills.

Very cool vid, Meghan.
that ornament is getting smaller and smaller, eh?
Every time i see a CL, i get reminded that they may reach an age of 80 years, and am amazed by that fact...
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
