Here is a video and some pictures of my 125g tank with the new canopy that me and my dad built. We just have to attach the door and it's done. I just added the bubble curtain today and it looks pretty good. My girlfriend bought me a huge aerator for our anniversary and it pumps air like you wouldn't believe. I also finally got that cool castle that I have wanted for years

Very NICE. Well done. I especially like that canopy setup. Is that a sump you got goin underneath? I cant really see it.Anyways, must have been alot of work, but obviously it has paid off.

And the castle, I mean, mon dieu, what else can one say...other than monumental underwater castles should not simply be seen, or even touched, they must be felt with the heart...(kinda looks like Castle Greyskull)

Are you gonna be adding silver dollars too?

Yes I will be addin the silver dollars after I move the tank. I am moving 5 hours away and taking the tank with me. So talk about a monumental undertaking. Anyways I will put the SDs in after I move.

Looks sharp. I like the bubble curtain. I'm considering what I want to do with my 285 gallon when I get it going. I like the way the bubble curtains look, especially if I could get it most of the way across the tank. 7-8 foot is going to be a stretch lol. But looks very good.

Thank you all. And I am draining the tank and saving 40g of water so the tank won't be to hard to move, it's the fish I'm worried about

From my understanding, it's not so much the water you need to save. It's the bacteria in the filters. New water can be treated but it's the bacteria that is what it means to have a cycled tank.

Why so much water?

That seems like a big ordeal to transport 40 gallons plus the tank i would just save enough to transport the fish and keep the media saturated.
