Here's some footage of my Green Spotted Puffer feasting on some shrimp.
Amazing how his belly becomes fat within a minute.
Hope you enjoy.

Another fish added to the handfeedable predatory fish in my home.

Noddy those are awesome. I'd love to have them but NO... NO more tanks for Brooksie. I love how fat they got so quick but they are tiny little fish huh? Thanks for sharing. You know my addiction to pics!

Very nice footage Noddy. You have some good looking puffers there. I enjoyed the music too.

It reminded me of this video I saw the other day on YT. (you have probably seen it already, but here it is anyway).

Yes, they're still small, just over 2 inch now, but will be growing to 7 inches max.
But they grow slowly and reaching that size will take them quite some years.

@Matt: It's a single species tank, for they can be very aggressive towards other fish.
But if they have been together as juvi, they may tolerate eachother for life.
And it's currently brackish water, but will be SW when they become adults.

@ cebo: Yeah, i've seen that vid, and i am wondering how it will feel if i get bitten by them.
I'm sure i'll find out soon enough, as i did with all fish when starting handfeeding them.

lol. yeah i think it would hurt if they bit you. don't they have 4 teeth or something like that. I recently watched some vids on the giant puffer (mbu i believe); and these looked like they have powerful teeth! I saw one crunching down and shattering muscles and clam shells. I don't know very much about puffers, but the green spotted ones that you have arent the same as these large "clam shell crushers" are they?

They have a set of beak like teeth, that will keep growing like rodents teeth.
mind you this is not one of my fish..

You have to provide them with hard shelled food like snails, to wear those teeth out.
I'm not scared for those teeth now, for their beaks are still very small, but i suppose i'll have to be carefull once they get bigger...
Allthough my Gar teeth seem more frightening.

And of course there's this vid to prove the point:

LMAO Why was that diver stupid enough to stick his finger in that puffer's mouth?!? He didn't know they had teeth or he didn't think they would actually bite? That's where the ID-1-T saying comes in LOL.
