Nice tank and very cool markings on your baby.
let's hope he keeps this pattern once he gets bigger.

Now his tailfin looks a bit nipped or damaged, am I correct?
Does he have any tankmates?

yea it is, he doesnt have any tankmates except for 2 crayfish but its not them, they dont fight. his fin was like that when i got him, i didnt notice it until i put him my cage and i was a little worried about it, but now im glad i got him out of the fish breeders tank and if u look closely, u can see the back of his top fins is a little damaged too(i dont know if u can see it in any of the photos)

ohh and thanks cebosound, im preety proud of it myself the plant immediatly to the right of his little house thing is actualy alive... im amazed the oscar OR the crayfish didnt destroy it yet... they didnt even touch it

it may be some old damage to the fins then, from the previous tankmates or bad watercondition.
Just keep your waterconditions pristine and the fins should heal quickly.

I never had any crayfish but with those sharp scissors they got, i could imagine your o getting harassed at night.
I wouldn't risk it, but then again, i never owned crayfish, so i cannot judge their behaviour.

well hes a lot bigger than they are, they are terrified of him haha i purposely picked small crayfish for that reason, i would actually suggest getting them, they pick up food scraps like a vacuum and also, if u look at the pictures, u see that bridge thing? the stone pillars are hollow and are only accesible from uptop, and the oscar "sleeps" in the right one at night, crawfish cant possibly get in
and enough about my fish, u guys put up some pictures of your oscars (and especially for noddy, your plecos)up here and we an check them out it'll be cool, instead of having to go and search up every1's photos on their profile

We just started a similar thread on oscars tonight and most of my pics are not on my profile, but are all virtually swimming on Photobucket...
But I'll hit you with some fish...
here's my oscars,a tiger and a red, named hope and Bolle:

Thank you.
the gar is a lil' over a foot now.
I have 5 tanks at the moment but the 2 biggest plecos are in the oscar tank with the gar, the rest in my wifes community tank.

the Xingu is the most rare fish i own.
It's not even described in the aqualog guide and i have not met anyone that has a similar type of pleco, and i asked on many forums.
Plus it's export has been banned, due to the current pleco ban so that makes this one Uberrare.

And there's these guys as well, but there in brackish water and i have not found any brackish plecos yet...:
