Here's a look at my 150g tank and Oscar. Unfortunately the Jack Dempsey and Raphael catfish were hiding at the time. There's a school of Giant Danios, and what are supposed to be juvenile feeder guppies. The colored tubing is, in fact, hamster tubing. Why you ask? Its for the crayfish I have in my tank. He basically never comes out and I'm not even sure he's still alive. Also, the tape measure in the last pic is to give an idea of scale, though it only kinda works. My Oscar is about 10 to 11in long.

Looking good, Oscars are adorable, but they are certainly not the prettiest fish in the world are they?

Hahaha, I dunno, one person's pretty, is another person's cute. Two of my professors saw the tank the other day, the one said "Awww he's so cute!" and the second immediately responded "What?? No he isn't!" But they both commented on how pretty his colors are so go figure.

I must be partial to the look...I think my bulldog and my oscar look pretty similar. Same facial expressions.

I had some friends over drinkin' and my one buddy brian mentioned how 'ugly' my oscar was and as a result he got a head slap hard enough for him to fall over and break the glass coffee table with his hand. That was the end of that particular discussion on that particular day. Well, and my coffee table.

Here's a pic of my jack dempsey, finally. He's slightly on the shy side and tends to stick to the rock pile on the right side of the tank. I wish I had a picture of what he looked like a few months ago in the previous tank because he used to be considerably lighter than he is now. Very rarely he'll be the lighter, more yellow shade that he used to be.





Still no luck with the raphael. He's REALLY shy. He wedges himself in the gap between one of the rocks in the rock pile and the side of the tank and doesn't come out all that often, at least when I can see him.
