Well thought it was about time i posted my new tank that i had to buy when we moved into new house.

Love your set up. Your Oscar must have a nice temperament to share his space with your sharks and catfish...have you lost any to him...and do you worry about the catfish spines??? Your sharks are a great size, I would love to get some...but my husband is going to divorce me if I get another tank and there is no more room at the inn...

Nice tank setup...looks like he has fairly advanced HITH though (?)

Thanx Cebo wasnt sure. some dont. some do..so thankyou for that.

Yeh hes not bad somedays shazz. He does chase the smaller fish but they to fast for him. N the catfish.. well they hide under the 2 larger rocks n come out when they feel like it.

nah no HITH hes had that for ages. doesnt get any worse or any better. some are wounds he has spacco moments n bounces of the rocks.

Looks to me like he has HITH, although most may be old healed ones but some look like 'current' HITH. Has your water quality been good since you have owned him?

just looked at him now.. Hes ben fine no scaring for last month or so. So not sure.. will have to keep an eye on it though. Due for a deep tank clean before the wedding. so i have been told...

but pictures paints a thousand words:


need to know water parameters: ammonia? nitrite? nitrate? pH? Temp?
if the scars do not heal properly, fish will be high risk of infection!
