u probably shouldn't mix o's with African cichlids. i believe its because they like different levels of ph. unless u got just o's, add some rocks and plants

Great pics, nice dark background would finish it off a treat.

your tank looks great
all you need is maybe some rocks or perhaps driftwood. could even try a few plants

as for the african the biggest prob i think would be aggression
and how big it will get. some (african cichlids) are very aggresive even if not as big as an oscar they can still bully them around. if it doesnt get to big them it could end up being dinner for your o's.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

my goal is simple a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all

Thaks!
maybe ill look for some nice rocks! for driftwood its a little hard to find here... ive been looking for some but no results! the one you see in it i brought it from miami... and bought a larger one but its nos ready (doesn't sink) thats why i have only one! what type of wood do you recommend for making some driftwood... plants is the same problem! there is not a place where i could buy some... so what i do is buy the bulbs at wall mart and grow them my self! but the problem is that they dont always bloom...

the african has been growing allong whith my oscars... and if it doesnt grow ill take it out...

thanks for the advice
