Hello ofl community. last night i started a water change that turned into a full overhaul of the tank.
I did a large waterchange, removed all decor and did an extra deep vacumming. cleaned and changed out some of the filter media. then I decorated the tank very differently with the goal being open swimming space.

Here is a short video just after I finished last night. water is still a little hazy, but is clearing quickly. (i couldn't wait to share my new look):

Your tank looks a lot bigger now actually.
I like the new look, although I'd break up the big open space in the middle with some smaller round rocks in the middle of the tank.
but that's personal.
Any cave plans for the future?

looks awsome i like the open space as it does make the tank look bigger. Whenever i change the decor of one of my tanks i feel like i got a new tank lol i will sit and look at it for hours. My wife thinks i am nuts but i love it

Very nice! It does look bigger and the fish seem happy too! I'm due for one of those overhauls myself. The O's are getting so big... the driftwood (as cool as it is) is taking up too much room.

As far as the cave, I am always considering different options like that. What kind of cave do you have mind? On the left side of the tank you can see some rocks stacked up; they are actually stacked up on top of a 3 way curved black pvc pipe. That is the cave that I have right now. It would be kind of nice to have a large cave in the middle.

Looks fantastic...mine are really boring and unimaginative...I'll have to work on that..I'm a functional more than aesthetic girl...but I love looking at fish so I need to extend my efforts a bit. I wonder what the fish think about it? Are they excited to be exploring their new home do you think? Love the song too, thanks...shaz
