Well I originally told everyone that I couldn't get pics of my new arowana because I didn't have a camera but I snatched my girlfriend's and snapped a few quick pictures. They are not the best but at least you can see him As you can see he is still pretty little, only about 7 inches.

He is so cute! I love Aro's but just don't have the space for one!

Congrats on the cutie!
It's NOT smart to piss off the girl with the BAN button!

Certainly one on my 'to-keep fish' list. If I can't get an south American or Asian Aro then maybe a local Jardini.

Oddly, that mystery snail looks like a giant or is a camera trick where the Arowana is over the other side of the tank?

Great looking fish. What sized tank is he currently in?

lol there is a snail in there the size of a baseball if that is the one you are talking about?

The aro is currently in a 125 g tank.

he is so tame and never attack any tankmate.... always swimming on top,
seldom to dive except when chasing the foods...feeders, shrimp, spleen,
pellets, and roaches

excellent fish!
thanx for taking the time to get some pics and share them.

one pointer on the pics, if you tilt your camera a bit more, the reflection of the flash won't show in the pics!

keep us updated please, for i expect your fish to become a monster like Paul and Marcus' ones!
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
