I made the mistake of thinking that fancy goldfish were good starters... very wrong! There have been many fish deaths since I started the hobby about 4 years ago!
But this gang were my absolute favourite (click to see the vid):
I was absolutely gutted when they all died at once! I was in my 3rd and final year at uni and I neglected my tank, my priorities were with my deadlines. The water quality slippeed and all my fish died extremely rapidly of an internal bacterial infection
They would literally pinecone and die within 12 hours of the first swelling starting.. scary!

Squeaker (This fish was sold as "chocolate oranda"... ha!)
Ghost (was pure white with a yellow head when I bought him home.. within an hour he turned blue/silver)
