You have seen Spike, but I have not shown you his tank mates. They are housed in a 75 UK gallon tank, which is filtered by a 25 gallon sump.

Firstly, here is Slurp, she is a L027b Royal Panaque sp_cf_nigrolineatus


This is Whiskers, he is an Pimelodus pictus and has a mate called Dotty.


Last but not least this is Marvin, a Red Spotted Severum.


Thats it, nothing else is going in this tank and I love it. All is peaceful at the moment and as long as it stays that way its all good.

Very nice fish. I have also got a red spotted gold severum. As your fish bigger, keep a very close eye on your water. The Royal plec can reach over a foot long and the severum can reach 12 inches. Obviously using a sump does increase the volume of water, however you are up to around 100 gallons which isn't a lot for the fish you've got.

Thank you OFL and Necromancer. I realise that eventually they maybe too much for the tank and already have a spare 55 gallon for the Severum as and when its needed. I also have the Central American tank which may be swapped around. But at the moment all is well and the water parameters check out fine, but as they grow I will be keeping a close eye on it.
