how many fish do u think i could get in that 450? i dont want a heap but roughly what would be a good amount surely i can have more then two oscars in that space!

yes you could have more than 2 oscars in a 450 gallon, BUT thats going to mean more bioload and more maintenance,
also getting another oscar means you run the risk of your oscars fighting, you must of heard the saying, 2 is a couple, 3 is a crowd.
2 oscars normally get on ok, but i have seen alot of write ups of people saying their 3 oscars are fighting.
what normally happens is, either your biggest O will attack your smaller ones OR, the smaller ones will team up on the big one.
maybe you'll be better getting some silver dollars, but remember, these like to be in shoals, so you'll need 4-6 of them.

450 gallons or 450 liters?

Well spotted art, sorry my mistake, i ment 450 litres.

yeah i dont think ill put many more o's in there thinkin about a parrot cichlid and maybe a barramundi.
my only worry is that my o's will give the new tank mates to much greef!.

parrots should be ok, as long as you dont buy them to small. but i have 2 parrots in with my 2 oscars and they get on great.
saying that though, my parrots were in the tank before the oscars.

yeah there was one a had my eye on (if hes still there)
who was just a bit smaller then my o's i think it would be big enough.
id just hate to see a fish slowy die from harrasment.
havent introduced new fish to my o's so im a bit curiouse.

parrots can be agggresive as well, so i wouldnt worry mate, they can defend themself well enough, i aint known an oscar to bully a parrot which is big enough,
in fact, most people i know that has both tell me that get on well.
in my tank, my 2 parrots follow the oscars everywhere. they all got on well.
this parrot you've seen, is it blood red? because all them colour ones you can get, their all dyed so they lose their colour after some time.
you'll be better with blood parrot.

i think from memory it was like a blueish colour? ill have to go back for a look.
but im keen on one how big do they get, there a nice looking fish!.

also in the way of filtration is the juwel good enough?
its a 1000L/h and im sure ppl on here know more about them then me.
