Ernie had suggested making a video showing how cramped an oscar can be even in a 75 gallon tank. I didn't necessarily make this video for that reason but it does show my medium sized oscar (around 10") maneuvering in the side of the tank.

Tank looks great UNC-CH. Your O looks very happy. Darth Vader is already overloading his tank. I will definitely upgrade his tank before year's end.

I think he is around 10 inches at this point though I haven't measured him since I got him in October when he was around 7 inches.

Good job with the video. Mine is even worse in the 72g bowfront with an 11" Oscar trying to turn around in a 13" wide spot of the tank. I actually got the standard 75g to make it easier on him.

@Bri - He's been like that this past week ... aggressive and playful. Yeah, he has that whole 4 ft. tank to swim in, but half the time he's playing in that one corner with the sponge filter and the plants he moved over from the other side of the tank. The rest of the tank is wide open ... nothing there except the inlet for the canister.

@DMD123 - I remember you mentioning a 75 gallon for this weekend. Do you have other oscars or just Chunk?

Chunk is my only Oscar. I already have Porkchop in the 210g who is pretty much an Oscar at heart or should I say stomach.
