jnet created the topic: people with 200gal tanks :)

I have got my new tank its rougthly 880litres 234gals US so just would like to see some pics or vids of peoples setups so I can get some ideas on what to stock in my tank.

I have 2rapheal catfish that I am keeping and a jd but I also have a rainbow shark and a plec that I could rehome or keep. I like the idea of doing fancy goldfish but also like the idea of red spotted sev, oscar Vieja eyc

I'm living my life, but not necessarily in the right order :)

This was my 300 gallon aquarium, although I haven't got it any more.

I think it would be best to keep to one theme, South American fish for example. If you want quite a few tank mates then I would definitely stick to the one Oscar.

I know Penn I liked your tank think you should get a new one ;)

Im thinking 3spot sevs, jd and albino tiger then my rafs, sailfin plec, rainbow shark. I would love 2oscars but I think it will already be overstocked once they are full sized. I would also like to add a vieja, or texas. or a group like rainbows.

I'm living my life, but not necessarily in the right order :)

The really good thing about sump filters is that you can put a lot of biological filtration in them. So you wherever problem dealing with water quality. Obviously you're never going to get away from the fact that the nitrate will build up fairly quickly the more fish you have. When you get a minute, I'd like to see this sump filter, Sounds interesting

Dont feel that way! It takes time to acquire and set up a larger sized tank. I was hunting for my 210 for at least a year and a half. and then took another three months to modify the stand and reinforce the floor under my home. Lots of work but it paid off.
