Here is a video update of my new tank. It has been set up for about a month and untill recenlty wasnt looking very good so over the weekend i removed the sunken ship and added some more driftwood. i still dont thing its finished, not sure about the rock pile in the middle. Also most of the lights need replacing, i was using the light off my old 4ft for this video, the light to go with the new tank can have 3 different light all with there own swith so i was thinking 1 clear/white light, 1 blue light and 1 purple light...
what you guys think of it?
The big guy is called Mastodon and is just over 1yr old and over 10 inches. The Lutino is called Pandora i got her (hoping its a girl) the day i set up the new tank and she is about 7 inches. They dont swim round together and Mastodon bullies pandora a bit but there has been no harm caused....see the video...
Each O has there own side of the tank, if Pandora enters Mastodons side she is chased away but some times Mastodon charges over towards Pandora with his mouth open and pushes her round abit. In the last couple of days Pandora has been sticking up for her self from time to time and squaring up to Mastodon with her mouth open, no lip locking has been seen. Pandora never seems to bothered by the bullying.
Tank is 6 ft, 540 liters.
1500 lt/hr Jebo canister (fully cycled, was running on my old tank) + 2000lt/hr top of tank wet dry trickel filter (came w tank) and 2000 lt/hr internal filter but i might remove the last one as it makes a bit of noise and i dont really like the look of it, it was in my last tank so i added it to the new tank to help with filtration while my new filter cycled.
Thats what i thought.... there is defo an invisable divider in the tank cause if pandora crosses it Mastodon is quick to put her in her place. No harm done though just one O showing the othe O who is the boss.
I would love to see the swimmimg round thogether though.
